I’m thrilled to announce that MSPP has closed on our second acquisition: Denver Ted’s Cheesesteaks in Denver’s LoDo neighborhood!
This is a monumental moment for us all. With this exciting next step, we’re continuing to put into practice our vision of a sustainable and equitable restaurant industry that centers and makes owners of its workers. Through back-office services and training around worker-ownership supported by over 100 years of combined experience in the restaurant and cooperative sectors from our advisors, we’re building a worker-owned restaurant group that is for and of the communities in which each business is located.
Denver Ted’s will be guided by the core MSPP team, and I will be assisting with day-to-day operations while employees are provided worker-ownership training and eventually empowered to make decisions, big and small, about their business. Employees taking on ownership roles is actually baked into the Denver Ted’s story: the most recent owners began as workers at the restaurant before eventually buying it from the original Denver Ted.

May want to correct the spelling to "cheesesteaks" in the headline.
