Creating a Robust Worker Cooperative Sector

During the Metro Mayors Caucus Lunch & Learn on Sept 22, 2022, we discussed the City of Denver Economic Development & Opportunity’s (DEDO) efforts to create a robust worker cooperative sector as a means to achieve a more inclusive and sustainable local economy.

This session highlights Center for Community Wealth Building’s DEDO-commissioned report that features the primary strategies and lessons learned from cities across the country. CCWB describes the recommendations and implementation plan for DEDO, as well as examples of its current work.
