What would the world look like if we were to treat food as a commons and not merely a commodity? This question and its possible answers have been at the heart of Jose Luis Vivero Pol's work for the past few years. currently a PhD research fellow at the Catholic University of Louvain, Belgium, he has worked for 14 years as an anti-hunger and social rights activist on food security policies and progarmmes in Latin America, Aftica, and the Caucasus.
