Grief? Oh! How we have known and know toxic masculinity, but what does it have to do with grief.

Here’s Van Jones angry, very angry and putting it out strong, clean, and clear…and then moving compassionately into “white grief” without missing a beat. (2:26 segment tweeted around 78,000+ times.)

White MAGA grief. The very human grief over the lost of so much we/they experience as their “true selves.” The grief their anger keeps them from feeling. Classic Kübler-Ross.

And grief is grief. It knows nothing about skin color or gender.

Jones shows us the magic of beautiful, tough, loving masculinity. It’s an essential alternative all across our political spectrum to our toxic polarization.
